Write down a list of your commonly held list of "reasons" why you can't live your best life. Why are you stuck where you are? Once you've written the list down, take some time away from it (perhaps a day) and then revisit the list. . .
Imagine a partner, friend, or family member shared these with you explaining why they could not take any steps towards goals they have. Would you have advice or words of wisdom for them? Is there any encouragement you could offer in the face of these obstacles? Be genuine, and see how many you can revisit with a fresh perspective! Perhaps write in different colored ink a rebuttal to each excuse. Keep this list nearby where you tend to get stuck so you can be the support you would freely and willingly give to others!
