How do you find joy in your current situation while working toward your Bigger Picture goals?
Write a SHORT list of the major "I'll be happy when" 's you fall victim to. Maybe it's just one major thing you've got on your mind! Maybe it's up to 3-5! Try not to think of things but rather pay attention to what you have already been telling yourself. Perhaps this is how you've been viewing your Big Picture goals?
Now how can you change the perspective and be accountable for your own joy? How can you change that phrase around to "I can be happy even with". Find gratitude and JOY in what you are working with here and now. Acknowledge that you are fully in control of your own joy regardless of your situation. I read this quote I'll leave you with "Claim your right to feeling great!"
