The Noisy Nest Approach

Lead by artistic curiosity and a detailed focus on the connection from thought to behavior, each class moves through self observation, character discovery and textual justification to not only fulfill character objective and objectives of each scene, but to make sure each artist walks away with new tools, discoveries and supported insight into their personal approach and connection to their work. This is not a cold reading class. Exercises and scene work are rehearsed and prepared to help artists build a work ethic comparable to industry standard.

Amanda Bird has studied and worked professionally in all aspects of theater and performance art production for over 20 years. A passion for direction and exploration led Bird down the path of education adn teaching. Focused on human psychology and behavior based action, Bird assist actors of all experience levels cultivate their own deep understanding of their tool box, their process and their passions.
