I just applied for a costuming job for a fringe festival show... technically i wouldn't start working until June. but i feel like i just failed my goal and BP.
thank you, gahhhh. I ended up turning the job down. After reading your input, I realized the reason I wanted to do take the job is because, even though I have a fuckton going on, I tend to get bored quickly- and if I get bored, I feel useless as a human hence my constantly surrounding myself with work all the time.
I need to remind myself that its okay to move forward from the "quantity" version of my life and to pick-and-choose what to focus on with the intention of "quality".
My BP: Finding SPACE and TIME in my life so i can succeed in my personal life AND professional
1) Why did you take on this job? And truly keep boiling your answer down until you get to the root.
2) What was your BP? (I sincerely hope you wrote it out and have it handy) This question I ask because, did you in fact fail it? Did this choice bring you further from that goal? And if so, what needs adjusting, the BP, or this choice?
Bird I challenged you to slow down, but I also mean your judgements of self. Slow down when the impulse strikes to declare things as facts, set in stone. Slow down when fear or worry creeps in and tries to call the shots. Slow down when anxiety and panic kick down the door and yell “fire”.
I’m very curious how this month might go if you apply your BP goal sincerely and truly give space to what wants to show up in your life!

Two questions for you to consider.

2) What was your BP? (I sincerely hope you wrote it out and have it handy) This question I ask because, did you in fact fail it? Did this choice bring you further from that goal? And if so, what needs adjusting, the BP, or this choice?
