After reading your input, I realized the reason I wanted to do take the job is because, even though I have a fuckton going on, I tend to get bored quickly- and if I get bored, I feel useless as a human hence my constantly surrounding myself with work all the time. I need to remind myself that its okay to move forward from the "quantity" version of my life and to pick-and-choose what to focus on with the intention of "quality". When I was maybe 18 or 19, Fern took me under her wing- she was a wonderful resource for me but I was young and terrified of success and I let our relationship peter off. She was amazing. Sitting with her at her desk watching her field phone calls and command attention was astonishing. I wanted her life and I ran from it :) ANYWAY this is a great organizational tool!
