but fu*k it,
let's raise some money!
just...don't tell her.
Hi, I'm Bird. Holly is my best friend, and she needs us.
January 11th, 2021, Holly was admitted into the hospital with a diagnosis of Rhabdomyolysis. Yah, I didn't know wtf that was either. You can read more about it HERE but essentially her muscle tissue breaks down and releases into the bloodstream faster than her liver can clear it out and detox her body. After 13 liters of fluids (and counting), many blood tests and little movement toward ideal CK levels , her doctor insists she stay until her body equalizes. It is unknown how long she will have to stay in the hospital, we've heard anywhere from 2 to 5 days?
We have no idea how much this is going to cost and the last thing we want is for Holly to get out of the hospital with more stress. She needs to focus on healing.
She is strong and determined to get out of the hospital as soon as possible but all we can do is wait for her body to regulate.
Because of Covid-19 protocol neither her boyfriend Ashley nor
I are permitted to see her or be with her.
so wtf is

more ways to help holly:
1/13/2021 - We thought she'd come home today but her CK levels shot back up to 17000. Her liver is working overtime, and she is doing everything she can to intake as much fluid as humanly possible. Ashley is taking care of Apollo.... I think? Ash?
1/14/2021 • Her CK levels got down to 9750-ish so she will be discharged today!
1/15/2021 • I got to spend time with her tongiht. She is still detoxing which has resulted in a bitch of a headache. Ashley and I were able to
pack her fridge with liver-healthy foods to assist in her continued recovery and to make sure this never happens again. I am so grateful to have her home.
