About the event
The Play Readers was founded in 2012 as a way to help connect LA artists with Theater. These weekly free-of-charge events are designed to engage actors of all experience levels to ignite and explore their creativity! Together we explore new works and classic plays, screen plays and more while pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones. Since 2012 we've read over 200 titles, produced dozens of Staged Readings, gone on countless Play Dates and created our very own Film Festival!
Each week we read a play and discuss! Each reading is cast night-of. You can request a role by emailing us the character you'd like to read and why HERE!
At each event you will:
